Now on the Christian Science Monitor : The Limbaugh-Steele feud: Rahm’s beautiful ballet. [cached]

    Act I – The Violation

Michael Steele disagrees with a CNN host that Rush Limbaugh is the de facto chair of the Republican party, instead claiming he is the boss. But that’s not enough. Steele then calls Limbaugh an entertainer and describes his show as “incendiary” and “ugly.”

And it goes uphill from there…

    I commented,

The Republican ‘base’ hasn’t quite got the joke:

That someone who does nothing but pontificate in a radio talk show with a big sensitive ego… actually has so much more power over the Republican Party proper… than someone who’s actually _in_ the party machinery!

The talk show pundits are now running the Party, and the base likes it that way!
