    Submission to the IJI-MLP section:

    William Happer wants to party like it’s 79,999,999 BC, which features a quick video from the Senate EPW committee (Inhofe’s and Morano’s lair).

    The reason I submit it? Actual inactivist quote:
    “80 million years ago the Earth was a prosperous place.” (Boxer’s replies are tempered with the political restraint working with Inhofe probably requires, but are still worthy statements in their own right.)

    Naturally there’s a few substantial errors in the inactivist talking points (for instance, there were no humans in the Cretaceous 80 million years ago, and when we did first appear (Pleistocene, IIRC) the concentration was closer to 200 rather than 1000 ppm), but those are for more detailed blogs than the MLP section.
